a retirement home, again
Today, I was the retirement home called Green Oaks (which is not the city of Green Oaks, nor the Green Oaks park, that would be confusing).
The Seniors who lived there were convinced the green slime growing near moisture was sentient, that the staff was summoning demons in the basement (to steal people's dentures). Qui-Gon Jinn also lived there, of course.
Two weeks later, I was Green Oaks again. This time, the staff were feeding seniors midichlorians (extracted from green slime) to give them everyone jedi powers and discover the secret of eternal life - not that anyone remembers any of that, of course.
Today is 1st October and 18th October. Time for a nap, and pack a sweater.
